Founded in 2021, Ambassador Cruise has become one of the leading luxury cruise lines on Halong Bay and also offers overnight cruises. 3rd February 2023 marked a renaissance in cruising Halong Bay for Ambassador Cruise, including a newly built vessel with restaurants and bars, an outdoor jacuzzi and a striking glass bridge.
The day-long Ambassador Day Cruise II, the five-star line behind the UNESCO World Heritage site's most sublime cruise experiences, began this year on 10th February.
The ship's spacious sundecks, which span two floors totalling 324 and 250 square meters, provide 360-degree views of Halong Bay. Among the top-notch amenities of the 45-cabin ship are two restaurants, two bars, a live music entertainment area, and a large open-air Jacuzzi. The protruding five-metre glass bridge on the ship's bow provides Instagram-worthy opportunities.
The five-floor steel craft with a massive basement of 90 meters long, 16 meters wide and 19 meters high makes it the largest and most luxurious ship to ever sail in Halong Bay's waters with a total of 10,000 sqm of lettable space. Unlike other Halong Bay cruise lines, Ambassador Cruise has an elevator to serve the elderly and disabled.
In addition to a wide range of amenities that were previously only available on overnight excursions, the new cruise caters for up to 500 passengers. Passengers will check in at the Ambassador's Check-In Lounge in Halong City at 9:45 am.
The itinerary includes an exploration of Sung Sot Cave and a delectable buffet lunch, while the ship's route takes a passage through Ho Dong Tien Cave, Trong Cave, Me Cung Cave and Cua Van Floating Village. Titov Island offers panoramic views of the bay from its scalable heights, where the cruise anchors. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck. At 4:30 pm, the guests return to the Halong International Cruise Port.
A round-trip shuttle bus links Hanoi with Halong Bay via an expressway, cutting the drive time between the destinations in half to two hours.
