Away from Chaos and Chill at V Villas Hua Hin

Updated: Apr 27, 2023

Located on Hua Hin beach, where the sun rises for morning people to enjoy a morning run with a view, V Villas Hua Hin is one of the luxurious accommodations in Hua Hin that offers an exclusive experience for its guests.

Chomp went to V Villas Hua Hin for two nights to indulge in V Villas Hua Hin's interesting hospitality.

With its captivating and secluded architecture, the renowned French architect firm Boiffils designed V Villas Hua Hin to be a destination where guests can experience complete privacy in their private villa surrounded by verdant walls and enchanting green hedgerow paths leading to the stunning infinity pool and endless horizon of the Gulf of Thailand.

Every villa was designed to have a high ceiling and sectioned with stretch, giving guests a sense of space to enjoy their freedom and relaxation. The interior atmosphere was based on traditional heritage design, modern luxury and Asian-inspired materials.

Each villa has a private pool functioning for a workout and leisure. It is large enough and equipped with a jacuzzi and fountain. Guests can chill in or by the private pool as they wish.

V Villas Hua Hin has 1-3-bedroom villas for guests to choose from, and they all come with a butler to take care of guests with every need. Chomp stayed at the 3-bedroom villa with 2 large bedrooms in a 2-story building. Each has a private jacuzzi for guests to enjoy a bubble bath. A small bedroom locates in a 1-story building with a spacious salon, a wine fridge, and a dining table that makes up for lacking a jacuzzi tub. A guest who sleeps in this room has full access to wine, tea and coffee whenever he or she wants.

V Villas Hua Hin offers a bubble bath-making service, and every butler has proper training in making firm, fine, fluffy and long-lasting bubbles. The product has natural aromas, which gives guests total relaxation. Chomp really enjoyed the bubble bath so much. The bubbles were delicate and soft, almost like whipped cream. It took some time to make it but trust us, it was worth it. Having some favourite wine: red, white, rosé or sparkling, while submerging in the tub is recommended.

Every 2 o'clock in the afternoon, V VillasHua Hin serves guests afternoon tea every day of guests stay. The snacks come in a box. Guests can have their afternoon tea by the pool or at the salon. There is a selection of organic tea in the salon's cupboard. For coffee lovers, every villa provides a pods coffee machine, and a variety of coffee guests can choose from.

The turn-down service time is 5 o'clock in the evening. The butlers will prepare the villas to fit for the night. This includes a facial mask and earplugs in a tray. Chomp put a facial mask on every night. This helped us skip facial routines.

At V Villas Hua Hin, guests can have breakfast in the villa or at Villazzo restaurant. The experiences are quite different.

For in-villa breakfast, it requires advance ordering. The in-villa breakfast menu has interesting choices of Thai, Western and Asian breakfasts. Chomp had in-villa breakfast on the first morning of our stay and tried floating breakfast for the very first time. The floating breakfast is Instagram-worthy but produces plastic waste of food wraps.

The following morning, Chomp decided to have breakfast at V Villas Hua Hin's restaurant, Villazzo, where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Having breakfast at Villazzo was terrific!

Truffle Mushroom Cream Soup is Chomp's recommend. The soup's creaminess and umami flavour made the dish balanced. In our opinion, the poached egg that was hidden under the creamy soup made the dish special because it gave the soup extra yolkiness.

Egg Royale, aka Egg Atlantic, is another recommended dish. The English muffin was toasted perfectly, layered with pinkish smoked salmon, a perfect sphere-shaped poached egg and yellowy rich Hollandaise sauce.

Fresh juice is worth mentioning. Guests can ask for their favourite vegetable, fruit or mixed juice. Chomp had apple, orange, beetroot and ginger mixed juice. The ingredients were so fresh. The team helped concoct the ingredient ratios to make the drink tasty. We ordered the mixed juice 4 times.

Chomp's dinner occurred outside the restaurant at one of the three pitted pergolas next to V Villas Hua Hin's main pool. The dinner menu is full of creative Thai and international food. Recommended dishes are Villazzo Som Tum, using coconut meat instead of green papaya; Hua Hin Crab Meat Salad, layers of avocado, tomato mixed with miso vinaigrette and Hua Hin crab meat; Lobster Spaghetti, black ink pasta with onsen egg, lobster and Tom Yum sauce.

V Villas Hua Hin has 2 communal pools, the main pool, a seamless pool with a beach view where guests can have a longer swimming lap or the sunrise/sunset with refreshments, and the temperature pool hiding behind a bush fence to relax their minds and bodies.
