In partnership with Bar Convent Singapore

The Bar Convent Singapore (BCB Singapore) 2025 took place at the remarkable Marina Bay Sands, marking a triumphant return after a year-long hiatus and a strategic shift in the event schedule from November to March. Held from 3-4 March 2025, this year's gathering emerged as a pivotal event for the bar and beverage community across Asia, successfully connecting industry professionals for essential networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

Exclusively designed for trade, BCB Singapore caters to a diverse audience, including bartenders, bar owners, distributors, and importers. The event serves as a vital platform for education, enabling participants to explore and understand the latest trends in spirits, innovative products, and industry practices shaping the beverage landscape.
The program for BCB Singapore 2025 was rich and varied, featuring expert-led talks from industry leaders, interactive workshops that encouraged hands-on learning, and engaging product showcases by brands eager to highlight their latest offerings. Central to this year's event were four key pillars of education: Business, Community, Creativity, and Innovation. These pillars guided numerous sessions covering a wide array of topics, including business ownership best practices, effective people management strategies, deep insights into liquid education, leveraging social media marketing for brand growth, and understanding evolving consumer trends.
The programme featured a diverse and meticulously curated lineup tailored to meet the varied interests and needs of all attendees. The product showcase was to be both exciting and informative. The selection of local spirits, representing a wide range of regions from North America to Europe, was remarkable. In addition to these unique offerings, globally recognised brands were also in attendance, keen to introduce their time-honoured products and new creations. This combination of local craftsmanship and international expertise created an enriching experience, allowing participants to discover the intricate flavours and stories behind each spirit.

Among the prominent names returning this year is Campari, a leader in the spirits industry. Symphony Loo, Regional Trade Advocacy Manager for Asia Pacific, articulated the brand's commitment to fostering community and collaboration: "Campari, as a brand, we are all about people and community. Bringing as many people from different places as we can, such as Tommaso Cecca from Campariono Milan and Campari Winners from Vietnam, Japan and Thailand, to showcase their talents is something that Campari wants to contribute to the community. We are very happy to be here for the second edition. We are looking forward to working with BCB Singapore again next year."

The event also featured esteemed guest bartenders from Thailand, India, Malaysia, and the Philippines, who showcased their exceptional talents at the Homegrown Heroes Bar. This unique experience allowed attendees to appreciate the diverse skills and creativity of bartenders across the region.
Among the impressive lineup was Supawit Muttarattana, Co-Founder of the renowned Dry/Wave Cocktail Studio, one of Thailand's most respected bartenders and the BCB Singapore Ambassador for Thailand. Muttarattana was present at the Homegrown Heroes Bar, and the BCB Official Party held at Cargo 39. He expressed his excitement and gratitude about participating in this year's event, saying, "It was an honour to be selected as one of the BCB Singapore Ambassadors. This is my first time here at BCB Singapore, and it's truly amazing to witness the rapid growth of Asia's bar industry and community. I believe that we will continue to foster this growth together and thrive as a collective."
At the Centre Stage, a series of expert-led seminars provided valuable insights on key industry trends and topics crucial for aspiring and established bartenders alike. The sessions covered a range of subjects, including leadership development, the art of cocktail craftsmanship, and the intricacies of bar ownership. Esteemed guest speakers included David Cordoba, a multiple competition winner between 2007 and 2014 and the Founder of Mr Daiquiri Pte Ltd, along with Bannie Kang, the Diageo World Class Bartender Global Champion 2019 and Co-Founder of Side Door Singapore. They shared their experiences and offered insightful tips on maintaining mental health while navigating the high-pressure environments of bartending and cocktail competitions.

Drink enthusiasts and connoisseurs had the exclusive opportunity to savour unique cocktails crafted by influential figures in the industry, such as Simone Caporale of Sips Drinkery House in Barcelona, who showcased his artistry at Gibson Bar, and Luke Whearty from Byrdi in Melbourne, who brought his expertise to Manhattan, among others. This interactive experience not only celebrated the craft of bartending but also fostered a sense of community among participants and attendees.
