BACARDI's blended Scotch whisky, a Dewar's, organised an event to launch cocktail competition Dewar's Highball Challenge at The Bar at The House on Sathorn. The event was attended by bartenders and media personnel invited to participate.
The Dewar's Highball Challenge Thailand was introduced by Andre Palaeri, Brand Ambassador for Thailand, and Mike Cheong Jit Hao, Brand Advocacy SEA, who explained the rules of the competition. The challenge winner will receive THB 34,000 in cash and a paid trip to Japan.
The competition is open to bartenders from establishments that have alcohol sale licenses, such as cocktail bars, nightclubs, restaurants, hotels, and cafes. The application deadline is 10th September 2023, and applications can be submitted on the website https://sites.google.com/view/dewarshighballchallenge/home
Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn, World Champion and Co-founder of prestigious bars including Find the Locker Room, Mahaniyom Cocktail, and the newly opened Nuss Bar, conducted a Master Class on the definition of a highball and the techniques used to create a perfect highball.
After the Master Class, Ronnaporn took over The Bar at The House on Sathorn as a representative of Mahaniyom Cocktail Bar and served three amazing highballs: Coconut, Tamarind, and Kaffir Lime.
